Threaded ski inserts require the correct bolts depending on the make and model of ski bindings you wish to attach.
PLEASE NOTE: We find for 80% of bindings we have the screws available off the shelf. For some bindings such as Dynafit, we have to hand grind the heads, and often shorten and rethread each screw, which can take considerable time. If hand finished screws are required for your setup we will contact you with a quotation for the additional labour involved. With some screw sets taking 2 hours to grind and finished, we cannot avoid a charge for the time involved. You will have the option to continue or cancel your order. Please contact us if you want to check before ordering.
These screws can then be used with threaded inserts such as Binding Freedom or Quiver Killer inserts.
Please place you order and we will contact you to confirm the binding brand, model and approx, year.
If you are not sure which make or model of binding you have, please contact us so we can assist you further.
If you require multiple sets of bolts for different bindings, simply add a set to the basket and then do so again with the updated details for the brand and model.
Buyers Guide to Threaded Ski Binding Inserts
The Skiers Lounge are a stockist and fitter of the Binding Freedom Threaded Ski Binding Insert System, which allows the fitting of a variety of bindings to one set of flat deck skis.
Once installed you can take your bindings on and off as much as you like. This is ideal for travelling as you no longer need to take a set of skis for touring and alpine skiing, you can now take one ski and both sets of bindings. This also reduces your transport costs.
The unique features of the system are:
- Stainless Steel items means no rusting
- Closed end system means a watertight seal preventing water penetration
- Coarse outer threads bites into your skis core - Fine inner thread with M5 thread secures your bindings
- Very small – minimal invasion of your ski core and low visibility too
- Slotted system. Unlike competitors the Binding Freedom insert features a slotted lip, so they can be perfectly aligned and installed with a flat head screwdriver or the pro install tool which Binding Freedom make.
- The composition of the steel is altered by rolling the threads, which creates micro-fissures. This means a stronger adhesion when installing the inserts to the skis
Fitting options
For the Binding Freedom threaded insert system, we offer two options, you can either buy the various parts to install the system yourself, or we offer a fitting service in our dedicated winter sports workshop. So if you are not confident about drilling your own skis, let us take care of this for you, to ensure a safe and secure interface.
We can also assist in calculating the hole placements for a mixture of bindings, whilst ensuring you are still in the optimum position on the ski.

- Installation onto one pair of pre-drilled skis - £30.00
The above price is exclusive of inserts and screws which can be found here.
We can mount multiple inserts for you to swap your bindings easily, or just one set to allow ease of removal when travelling with your skis.
