Drill Bits For Mounting Ski Bindings

Ski binding drill bits are used to correctly mount ski bindings on flat skis, and should be used with a ski binding jig. They allow you to set the correct hole depth and diameter. Generally 3.5mm/3.6mm holes are for wood core or composite skis with no metal, 4.1mm drill diameters are for metal laminated skis.

Make sure to use the correct diameter and depth of drill bits. Please note you can use a 3.6mm drill bit instead of 3.5mm bit, and vice versa. You must use a 4.1mm drill bit with metal laminated skis as it helps prevent mushrooming of the top sheet as the screws are tightened.
