These heated ski and snowboard gloves are powered by twin Li Ion batteries in each glove for up to 10 hours of warmth.
These are ideal for those with circulation issues, as the wound elements inside the glove and fingers not only provide heat but encourage active bloodflow for improved circulation and warmth. The elements have been improved and this latest version focusses the heat in the fingers and at the tips, so are very suited to those with Raynauds, and those who get discouloured fingertips in cold conditions.
The three heat settings cover all needs. On setting 1 you get up to 10 hours of heat, on setting 3 you get up to 3 hours of very strong heat. We recommend switching the gloves on to setting 3 as you put your ski boots on, and then running the gloves in setting 1 for the day, and 2 if it is very cold. This gives you a nice pre-warmed glove and plenty of power for the batteries to last all day.
Suitable for all outdoor use, these gloves come in a dedicated storage pouch, complete with a multi plug and voltage charger, so they can be used anywhere in the world.
Of course being a Hestra glove, the glove itself is beautifully made, featuring a hard wearing goat leather palm and fingers, and a waterproof membrane throughout the glove.
Heating Times
Setting 1: 8-10 hours continuous heat
Setting 2: 4-5 hours continuous hear
Setting 3: 2 hours continuous heat
Fit
We say go with your glove size. Measure round your hand at its widest point and that measurement in inches, for example, 8" is your glove size. If between sizes you can go up. There is generous length in the fingertips, to allow for a glove liner and we will always recommend a liner such as a Hestra silk, as you can then run the battery at a lower and longer level. The fit through the cuff is snug due to the need to keep the batteries in place, and the rest of the glove is generous.
