BootDoc Stability Mid Ski Boot Slide In Insoles for Medium Arch Support

Season:Current

Brand:Bootdoc

Code:01-0400-163-

For those who cannot come in for our 100% custom moulded footbed, we offer these off-the-peg pre moulded insoles with low, medium or high arch support. Uniquely these are also size matched as per ski boots in Mondo Point sizing. These can also be used in other sportswear too where stability and support is required.

This is the medium stability option, offering support for those with a medium foot arch.

The BootDoc Stability insoles come in 3 options, low, medium and high arch support. Take a look at the 3 imprints below and descriptions to help determine the best option for you. (Tip - to find your imprint, when when you get out of the shower look at the foot imprint you leave on the floor)

LOW ARCH

Low Arch Support

With a LOW arch little cushioning is available, reducing the spring in your step, and giving a very "flat" feeling in a ski boot with little damping. Displacement of the bones involved can cause strain on tendons and ligaments. This can lead to some imbalance and pain. The LOW arch insole helps to prevent overpronation.

The arch is unable to offer cushioning, thus reducing the spring in the customers step or running motaion. Displacement of the bones involved (e.g., buckling of the ankle bone, heel bone) can cause strain on tendons and ligaments. This leads to static imbalance and pain. The LOW Arch insole helps to prevent overpronation.

MID ARCH

Medium Arch Support

The medium arch is often refered to as "normal" although with feet no 2 feet are the same! The pressure below the foot is distributed over the 3 main support points: heel (20 %), big toe base joint (17 %), small toe base joint (13 %). A MID Arch insole off ers optimum pressure distribution for this type of foot, while stabilizing and cushioning.

HIGH ARCH

High Arch Support

The long-arch is very high, reducing the contact surface with the ground. High medial and lateral arches are typically caused by shortening of the tendon structure or high muscle tension. These changes of the foot shape cause friction and pressure points when wearing boots. A HIGH Arch insole ensures comfortable, even pressure distribution for this foot type.
