For the last decade, the Black Pearl 88 has helped to transform the way women look at the mountain. The Pearl was conceived to give you the one tool you need to ski wherever you please. With an updated women’s specific TrueBlend woodcore and FluxForm W.S.D. construction, there’s never been a better time to get on a Black Pearl 88.
The 88 is treated to a deeper rocker in the tip and tail, with healthy camber underfoot. That combination makes for increased maneuverability and smooth turn initiation. The new shape and construction help you lean into a turn and ski it harder. It supports longer turn shapes and pretty high speeds, all without requiring it. It's possible to increase the edge angle and take a more forward stance, trusting trust the ski to support that whole turn consistently.
Our Ski Testers Opinion
Still my favourite all-mountain ski, it has had some big changes to the design/construction and remains absolutely amazing, and my favourite ski at the ski test - again!

Trueblend all-mountain woodcoreAn exclusive blend of woods providing 3 areas of density
High density wood stringersThe TRUE BLEND WOODCORE technology is made of a blend of two different woods. The high density wood stringers are built into the ski wood core. By modifying their length and number, Blizzard can control the flex very precisely. Harder flex in the center where you need more strength and softer in the tip and tail for more forgiveness and an easy power release.
The right flex where you need itThanks to the True Blend WoodCore technology Blizzard are able to control the flex precisely through the whole length of the ski, maintaining the desidered behaviour the same for all sizes.
